Hovhannes Movsisyan

Hovhannes Movsiyan has over 17 years of experience in the media industry. He began his career at the age of 16 at Internews, and later worked at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty as a journalist, presenter, and producer.
He has founded and led several media organisations, including CMTeam Media Company, the Armenian Unified Information Centre, the Orbeli Analytical Centre, and the Hero of Our Times awards program.


Since 2020, Hovhannes Movsiyan has been serving as the Executive Director of the Public Television Company of Armenia, during which time new television channels and digital platforms have been launched, and major cultural projects have been implemented — including Festivar, a project aimed at promoting regional tourism. Under his leadership, Armenia hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 (JESC 2022).
