Arthur Yezekyan

Arthur Yezekyan was born on February 6, 1966, in the village of Akhuryan, Akhuryan region, Armenia.
Education / Specialisation
From 1983 to 1990, he studied at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Cybernetics, specialising in Automation and Telemechanics.
Professional Career
Since 1994 – Founder of Shant TV (broadcasting in Yerevan began in 2000)
1998 – Founder of Shant Radio
1990–1994 – Founder of Tsayg TV (Gyumri)
Participation in State Elected Bodies
1999 – Candidate for Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia
Publications / Creative Work
Author of numerous Shant TV programs and concepts, including humour programs, the socio-political program “Kamurj” (Bridge), and the analytical program “Hayatsk Hyusisits” (View from the North).
